Location right by ocean and the mountains as well as Hermanus for 4 days. Also, close to Grotto beach-ideal for long walks. Ideal location, well-equipped room with unbelievable views of the ocean...

The hotel's location was excellent, in da garden of eden with the main shopping centre and shopping malls within walking distance. We stayed for 1 night here, loved Voelklip district...

The hotel was a welcome base for enjoying a really quiet area, close to beach with the most breathtaking sunsets and Voelklip, an upmarket suburb of Hermanus, close to the main beaches.

The restaurant had a good selection, we enjoyed our warm dishes, the view of Grotto Beach was lovely, and the location was fantastic as it was close to the beach.

The manager Nato was friendly and always willing to assist

We took the 2nd last available room and it may not applicable to other sectors of the guest house,but the room was not very soundproof and other guests were very noisy when entering or leaving the building by that passage

Excellent value for money, lovely room with semi-private deck - this made all the difference. comfortable bed, good breakfast - value for money!

It was our most relaxing weekend ever. Nato and Julia thanks for your warm and loving welcoming. You guys really made us feel comfortable and at home. For overnight stay it was suitable, not in town so quiet.

Rooms were basic, no tea/coffee facility in room

The double room is beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable, at a cost of £1117.

The location was absolutely perfect and our room was comfortable and clean. We would definitely return.

I do think that while the bathrooms were exceptionally clean they could be upgraded and my spouse would have preferred a slightly larger television with dstv in the bedroom however this won't impact our decision to return as Baleens really is value for money.
